Community P.O.W.E.R. Bridge Program

    1. Community P.O.W.E.R. (A/CS/CE/PD) introduces youth to consensus organization and moves them from passive community members to active community stakeholders. Working out of the textbook, “Consensus Organizing: A Community Development Workbook” by Mary Ohmer and Karen Demasi, our students learn how to communicate and implement their own ideas for community change. They will hone their writing, public speaking, survey and data analysis, relationship building, and entrepreneurial skills throughout the experience.
